Lake Reflections

I am happiest in nature. I carry with me countless memories of time spent gliding through lake water surrounded by lily pads and wildlife. I intended for this piece to carry the colours, and endless reflections of the ever-changing lake water. As it has always been vital that one could carry water in a vessel for use, I also wanted to suggest the carrying of water through the use of wire, in order to create of a faux pitcher aesthetic.

Size: 15.5” H x 6.5” W x 4” D
Material: Hand-Built Ceramic Vessel. Organic form with Painted Glaze and Oxide Application. Use of High-Temperature Wire.
