Tableware Course
Class enrollment requires an account so we can collect your registration details. Create one here.
Join our popular course for making functional tableware. You can anticipate the enjoyment of using your handmade ceramics at home — but, much more than that, this course is a fantastic way to elevate your practice.
We'll discuss form, proportion, and design-for-the-eveyday, resulting in a cohesive collection: two plates, two bowls, two cups, and two side-plates.
Creating a clear vision of coordinated work means you'll learn to build with intention and attention to detail; consistency is the mark of skilled artisan. We'll share the technical skills and a mindful approach to help you get there. You can expect a combination of wheel-throwing and hand-building throughout.
During the final session, what better way to mark you achievement than by using your collection at a shared meal — a warm celebration of community, craft, and the connection between creativity and daily life.
