Many summer camps focus on filling time — at CIRCA, we focus on creating meaningful experiences.
This 3-week program invites young artists into a thoughtful introduction to ceramics through storytelling, observation, and making. Across six sessions, students are introduced to three influential artists, exploring how each one saw the world and expressed their ideas.
Each creative cycle begins with a short, engaging story about the artist, followed by visual exploration and hands-on making. Students create ceramic pieces inspired by these artists, then return to glaze and complete them in the following session.
By the end of the program, each student will have created three finished works, each reflecting a different artistic influence.
